BBC News continues downhill (2)

Just spotted a remarkable piece of reporting by the BBC. See the headline? The photograph? The caption? Tabloid spin or gross incompetence?
Update: They’ve fixed it. The story concerned two youths who had been charged with arson. A 17-year-old, who because of his age was entitled to anonymity, had been found guilty, as trumpeted by the headline, “Youth guilty of £8m school arson”. Immediately below the headline was a photograph of the other accused, who, at 18, was not entitled to anonymity. The small caption under the photograph gave his name and mentioned that he had been cleared, contrary to the impression that any reasonable person might infer from the proximity of the headline to the photo.
Just a cockup.
